Awesome
Hello, ive been getting tips from people here for some time now on how to LD and one person recommended te FILD method. Well here it goes...
Last night i went to bed in my usual manner hoping to have my first LD, without expecting too much. I set my alarm to 4 30 in the morning to try FILD. I woke up at 4 30 and was really tired so i wasnt going to try to FILD, but just did it for laughs. I began to move my fingers very slightly and unbeliavably within ten or so seconds i was suddenly wide awake staring at a clock in my room that i was sleeping in. This clock was very strange and i didnt remember getting it so i did a RC as i was laying back down by plugging my nose and breating, and i could breath! I realised i was dreaming and did it again and it was true. i looked at my bedside clock and it read 7 30, then i looked away thn beck and it said 30 minutes. I got up and was excited but then it started to get blury and i felt like i was waking up so i looked at my hands and everything cleared up. I walked into the hallway and tryed to turn the lights on because it was as dark as it was when i FILD, but the lights wouldnt work. I then just walked in the dark in amazement then i tried to make a friend appear but i couldnt. I was still happy over being in a LD so i thought i would look around my dream for things that would help me LD more often. Then suddenly the dream ended and a couple more non LDs started.
So, do you guys no any ways to have more control in dreams to do things like bring people into your dream and have LD last longer. SOrry for the length but im really excited to finally after two months have my first LD! Thanks in advance

That really is awesome! I'd never heard of FILD but tested it once last night, ended up semi-lucid, so curious as to why it seems to work...
EDIT: Check out the forum below Attaining Lucidity - it's called Dream Control :p There's lots of stuff on here on how to stabilise and lengthen lucids, like rubbing your hands, spinning if the lucid seems to fade, touching items, objects etc We all like to go off flying and having fun and wanting to know how to do xyz, but it's great your first question is how to have more control! :)
One thing that has helped me loads was a comment on here; whatever you want to happen in a dream will happen if you believe it will happen, and conversely won't if you have any doubts.

Did you use the FILD method tutorial from here? I'm just curious, because I have yet to have an LD aswell, and I've been trying for about a month now.

Congrats! Keep it up ;:^)

Sounds like you're doing well, congrats!
Crawling on the ground is an awesome dream-stabilizer for me:). I usually combine it with looking at details and licking the ground.
Kudos to the one who gave me that tip about crawling:). Unfortunately i forgot who it was...
Greetings, Tucane:)
