Please explain what I'm doing wrong? :\

Okay, I've been trying to WILD for the course two weeks, and I'm going to list the things that I do. Because every time I try, I always get the same output.

      1. I wake up after 4-6 hours of sleep and lay on my back with arms to my sides.
      2. I relax: jaw, arm muscles, leg muscles.. Etc
      3. I begin to start saying a mantra (sometimes) and just kick back and wait.
      4. I start feeling my hands slowly start becoming fuzzy, than my arms, and to the rest of my body, but not all of it. The best way to put to is that, my body is frozen in ice, but some parts of my body aren't covered, like: Half of my torso, one of my upper legs, and my feet, and they never go into SP.
Now I'm going to list the weird things that I do without thinking.
      1. I start opening my eyes slowly, but I don't try to, Its like my body wants to. when I start opening, I can see my ceiling, so I close them tighter. (not too tight)
      2. last night when I tried it, I actually swallowed without thinking, I just did.

I also have a fan in my room. Does it have to be perfectly silent? Or can I have the fan? Oh and whats really strange is when I say to myself "that's enough" and just try and move my arms to sit up or something. I can do it as if I wasn't in SP, like I was just laying there the whole time. I can just lift my arm up like nothing, but my bones feel a bit creaky, and I feel really tired like I had just woke up from sleep.

I didn't false awaken either. I know this for a fact.
I would love a comment for feedback, and i would really like to see whats wrong because I wanna do this Thanks To Everyone.

It doesn't seem like you're doing anything wrong. Are you doing this with WBTB? You could try changing how long you sleep beforehand and see if that gets you into SP faster. Also, how long did you stay still for?

Don't try to WILD. Just go to sleep with the intention of having a lucid dream.. and wait.

If WBTB is waking up for about 5-10mins then trying for it, then yes I did.
And I stated still for about 30 mins, but averagely its 45.

If the white noise from a fan helps you fall asleep then the fan is no problem.

I would say try using an extra blanket and do WILD after 6-7 hours of sleep.

Firstly, how much lucid dreaming experience do you have? taking on WILDing without really having the feel for your dreams down is much more difficult than otherwise.

Secondly, Oneiro makes a very simple but ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY point. You have to fall asleep in order to have a WILD. That should be your goal.

Other random tips to try out:
      • Stay up longer 30minutes or more
      • Be comfortable, the way you are laying, the level of sound and light in the room, and even if you have to adjust, swallow, blink, whatever. Just do it and be done with it.
      • You are not quite in SP yet, but you are getting there, when you feel "fuzzy" it's important to let go of strict awareness of your body. This is the threshold, this is the tricky line between WILDing and failing. Let go of everything but the thinnest string of consciousness.
