Some people think that a present-tense autosuggesetion works better, as in "I lucid dream". Its worked brilliantly for me before.

Listening to it reminded me of something.

In the 1970s an old Hari Krishna Devotee told us that in Indian parents carefully and prayerfully choose a name for their babies because it is believed that in the birth name is the vibration frequency that will balance them and complete them so they can go home.

Even if the child never chants the Maha Mantra, every time someone calls them by their name, it helps them remember who the really are originally before they FELL asleep.

I repeat stuff like this all the time. It isn't directly linked to dreams ya say? A day of good hard work is good for the soul and makes sleeping (so dreams) better. If you develop the habit of listening only to your soul, your dreams will get better because it (autosuggestion/behaviour) influences your subconscious mind a lot and they will be more adventurous, you will have more guts. Even if you aren't lucid.
