Hey guys |

Very true. Just as my motivation begins to dwindle and i feel like i'm not getting nowhere, another lucid just occurs and reminds me that all the practice is worth it =] |

I think this is one of the most important aspects of lucid dreaming - and something that separates the dreamers from the rest. |

Total Lds - 103
Spoiler for Goals:
I'm glad I read this because it's just more reason for me not to quit. |
|
I think my biggest problem now is that I'm in a habit of drinking and/or smoking before bed and it has wreaked havoc with my dream recall. I need to find a way to go to bed earlier and sober.. hmmm.. |

Back when I first joined this forum I'd taken couple of years out of LDing after only having a couple of lucids as a teenager. I started trying to learn again and it took me over 8 months of intense effort before I finally succeeded. I am glad there were posts like this around when I was re-learning because I'd probably have given up too!! |

You should not only stop smoking and drinking for LD, but for your own health too |
|
Glad everyone gets something out of it! |
|
Thanks for that, It made me think positive thoughts... :') |

This is true! A lot of people think their the exception and will NEVER be able to have lucid dreams. The truth is that ANYONE can have lucids (unless you were dropped on your head as a baby...) ! You just need the right frame of mind and dedication. Stay Motivated! |

HA, maybe I should try harder, my recall is on and off, mostly off now that i don't wbtb because my junior year course load is terrible, and after 3 years I've had like 10 random ones, and have yet to intentionally induce one. Stay consistent is the lesson, I guess |
