Hi, I've been trying to attain lucidity on and off for a while now. I have tried keeping a dream diary and doing regular reality checks in the hope that I will do one in my dreams. I became lucid after about three days, but woke up the instant I realised I was lucid. I kept trying for about four months, but did not become lucid again.

I have also tried setting an intention to lucid dream before I go to sleep, no luck there either.

On the few occasions that I have woken early, and have the opportunity to go back to sleep, I have tried to picture the dream I awoke from as I go back to sleep, but have not become lucid.

I would like to try some other techniques, but all there seem to be are ones like the wake back to bed. With my partner in bed next to me that is not practical.

Can anyone suggest other techniques I could try?
