I keep getting so close, how can I go one step further?

2 nights ago, I had this cool vivid dream then suddenly I had a false awakening but I could hardly see anything, it was pitch black! I realized I was dreaming but It was really hard to keep my focus. I started flying but I still couldnt see anything and I kept switching on and off of lucidity. It was not very vivid. How was I supposed to keep my focus? I would probably have a really cool LD if I kept my focus

By the way, I usually have really vivid dreams and I write my dreams down every morning

First of all, that's awesome! Sounds like a real breakthrough into lucidity, your dream journal is definitely paying off!

For focus, read up on general tips on how to stabilize and deepen your lucid dreams. Things I can suggest are
      1) Rub your hands together and look at hands!
      2) Touch your arms, legs, or your body in general
      3) Touch the objects around you
      4) Look at everything around you in quick glances
      5) Write out what you want to do in your lucid dream beforehand so that you can have this clear intention when you become lucid.
      6) Shout phrases like "Enhance my lucidity now" Or "increase my awareness now" or "I want to do x (fly, talk to somebody, eat food), now!" Try repeating these phrases at least 3 times before you stop if they don't work.

By the way, how was Heaven? I see you marked it off your dream goals...

Thanks a lot for the tips! I will try and practice them

Heaven was a house but it had no furniture or anything and it was really big and it was all white! There was a lever and you could pull the lever if you wanted to go back into the real world, it was really cool! There was quite a lot of people

Try visualizing seeing people play the music in front of you... or you can visualize someone ice skating to the music. Give it a shot and keep having those lucid dreams!!
