ok, so i figured out what is in pretty much all my dreams now what. like i know your supposed to do reality checks when ever you see it but mines a little hard. My dream signs is video g ames. more like being in a video game. its like every night,, i have atleast one dream about me having to complete this task. there is monsters there. its a video game. so how am i supposed to relate this to doing reality checks?
From what I understand, every time you see or do something related to your dream signs you do a few reality checks, so in your case every time you see or do anything related to video games I would do a reality check. Unless you have some sort of technologically advanced virtual reality system, I don't think that you will be doing any reality checks inside of a game anytime soon!
When I encounter a dream sign I often try to plug my nose, and I then check if my hand will go through any of my immediate surroundings.
Personally I tend to appear in my mother's old house quite often in dreams, and that house is no longer around my area so I am unable to follow through with the "reality check" portion of the whole ordeal with that specific dream sign. Since I am unable to link my reality checks to my mother's old house, I simply make a strong mental note, and I know I will never be at my mother's old house so every time I encounter that sort environment I know I am dreaming.
Ladendais basically covered it. Whenever you think about video games or play one, do a reality check. I also recommend to do a reality check when you are in the middle of playing a game. Also, before you go to bed tell yourself 'I will become lucid because I will recognize my dream sign.' Good luck! :)
