EILD (Erotically induced lucid dream)

EILD Erotically Induced Lucid Dream:

While not the best for most people, I believe this technique has potential to be extremely powerful when done right.

We all know that guys experience nocturnal emission regularly when not masturbating. If one is to RC whenever something sexual happens to them, lucid dreams could be induced with relative ease due to the sexual nature of such dreams.

That person would have to forgo masturbation and sex in order to properly use this technique, which is why it is not for most people.

Fear not though, because there is more. With the same RC habits, any sexual dream would work. I need someone to test this, but I believe that simply sleeping nude could induce sexual dreams.

For people who are heavy sleepers, and also have open partners to help them, a sexual dream can be induced nearly perfectly. Without going into detail, if the person attempting the technique fell asleep earlier than their partner, the partner could "stimulate" them and induce a sexual dream which would trigger a RC.

Would someone be willing to help test this technique?

firstly i beleive EILD is taken and means externally induced lucid dream (correct me if im wrong)
secondly before making a 'technique' why not try it out for yourself and offer some personal experience for your theory
thirdly it requires your partner to wait up/wake up in the night just when you are in REM for this to work, if it even does work
fourthly im sure anyone would wake up if there goods were being played with
Im not totally discrediting your idea it just seems a bit over the top, all you need to do is to RC when having sex and eventually that should be passed on to your dreams

EILD stands for either Externally (as Shadow stated) or Electrically Induced Lucid Dream.

As for your ''technique'', I agree with what Shadow said. I'd suggest trying it out yourself and then reporting back. :)

Have any suggestion on the name? I'm not sure what to call it.
I just want to distribute information that could be useful to fellow LDer's. I didn't intend for the technique to be a fully developed one, it's still in the development stage. That is, if it has merit.
I was thinking that if your were to go to sleep an hour and a half earlier than a partner, the partner could do their part when the went to sleep themselves. It's not necessarily something that would be possible. It's just a suggestion.
Deciding if "stimulation" is something that would wake you up is where it would vary from person to person.
As for your last point, yeah, that's what I was intending, just RCing when having a sex dream. I am just trying to offer suggestions as to how that could be accomplished.

Perhaps SILD? The ''S'' standing for ''Sexually''.

I dont really think it needs a name seeing as its just an RC, though the stimulation whilst your asleep could be, but depends if it actually works

Shadowofself made some great points there. If you are talkin this a theory then you should probably do some testing before hand to have evidence to back it up. After all, theories are always backed by evidence in the scientific world. Test this out maybe before you post. I'm not saying it was a terrible idea to post this, I'm just saying you should maybe test it out before you post it here.

Also like shadow of man said, this is just more of a reality check. It sounds like a solid dream sign, but not really a fu blown technique. You could definitely paid this with DILD and get some great success! Go try this out though! It sounds like it could work pretty well!

if im getting stimulated im gonna go for the real thing over the dream.

Starting today, i'll try to test it out, though it will take time to establish the RC habit. I guess I shouldn't have called it a method as much as some tips. That's really what it is. Advice.

I don't know everyone's personal experience, and for just having sex, I don't know why I didn't think of that. The name is not really important actually because it's not really a method. I just thought it would help.

The method may not be too revolutionary, but the core element to it to me is quite intriguing. You want to build up an association between something you experience often, and an R.C., so the more often that thing happens, the more you will R.C. Unless I am mistaken, this is the general principle to doing reality checks, other than using them to question and then test reality, hence reality..... test.

Anyway, the one thing everyone experiences is arousal, mostly for men, every day. It is nearly unavoidable. So if you can link reality checks to these moments, not only are you getting regular reality checks (instead of say doing them whenever you think of them, which could be a lot less than everytime you get a sudden boner), but it is also something that happens during the night, while you sleep. So if the body was tuned in enough to doing reality checks while in that state, then it could be a pretty handy way of inducing lucid dreams.

You can hope for a dreamsign to come along or you to suddenly DILD, or you can use your own automatic body processes to help you.

That's exactly what I mean. Considering people (including women) get aroused during REM sleep, if any of that transfers to a dream, you do a reality check and become lucid.

Also This relates well to the topic.
