There are many methods that you can take, the stage you are attempting to get to in Transitioning. |

I'm kind of a noob when it comes to this stuff, but I'm trying to Wake Induce Lucid Dream. I can get to the point where my body becomes paralyzed (or at least mostly paralyzed, I can move my arms a little bit), but I don't know what to do after that. Do I open my eyes? Do I just continue to go to sleep? What's the next step to lucid/OBE. |

Thank you! Although I'm having trouble realizing when exactly I'm in sleep paralysis. I can't really check if I'm in sleep paralysis because whenever I try to move my legs, they seem stiff and harder to move than usual, but my arms are super easy to move. Any suggestions on entering sleep paralysis and checking to see if I'm in it? Also, when I visualize say the rope thing, will I just transition into the dream by myself, or will I have to do something? Last question, when I do 'transition', should I imagine myself in an alternate world or by my bedside, and do I open my eyes to transition (someone told me that, but it seems like it'd disrupt the process.)? Again, thank you so much for the help. |

You want to change focus from your waking body into your sleeping one. This will happen automaticly if you manage to relax enough, a dream will form around you. Careful not to lose consciousness though. Or you can do what Arch said, you visualize a scenario and try to activate your senses in that one, completely forgetting that you're lying in bed. |

Imo the best way to WILD is simply to try to fall asleep and retain a small shred of awareness. Forget about SP and everything else that people tend to talk about, none of that really matters as you're not doing the WILD for a physical/real-world experience, but one generated in a place only accessible to the sleeping individual. |
