Are you consistent? Most techniques should work for everybody, so just pick one and consistently practice it (however long it take) until you get it. |

I hate to sound like a spammer, and i'm not, but I really don't know what to do. I've known about lucid dreaming for around a year now, and i'v been actively trying for several months to have one. I've tried WILD, CAN-WILD, subliminal messaging programs (on my computer), mantras, belief, and anything i'v read about. |

Most of the techniques work with in conjunction with strong dream recall and the creation of an RC habit. I've read a lot of posts on the forums. Seems like the trick is to be consistent. Try just choosing ONE method and develop it. |

Try the WBTB method which I describe here in another post. Write down every dream you remember in a journal as soon as you wake up. Dream recall is the best thing for achieving lucidity, cause you may have already done it, you might not be able to remember it lol. Good luck! Also just stick to one method. If you are a visualizer (type of personality) then do a MILD, otherwise I defiantly recommend WBTB. |

When we are dreaming alone it is only a dream. When we are dreaming with others, it is the beginning of reality. ~Dom Helder Camara
Before I even came to this site (today), I had been keeping a dream journal for 100 days. Before I started recording my dreams my intention was to have a LD. My advice to you is this. 1.) Try one method at a time. If you're trying 5 different methods in a few days they probably won't work. 2.) Start a DJ (dream journal). Other than that, I use DILD (mantra "Next time I'm dreaming I will remember that I am dreaming"). WBTB kinda goes with the DILD. I'm also working on my WILD technique though that will take time. Be confident that you will have a LD and concentrate on that or a mantra, that's what I would do anyways. |
