      Book Reading Wild ?!?!

      Hey you all
Last Night I experienced the strangest Wild EVER! I was very tired because I only got about 2 hours of sleep in the last 2 days and when I wanted to sleep I realized that I had to read 50 pages of a book for school.
So I got my book and started reading...
After about 10 minutes the strange thing happened. I got really sleepy while reading the book but I forced myself to go on. I slowly noticed how my mind was making up a dream scene (like when you deild the scene slowly appears) while I was reading. At first I didn't focus on it but after a while it got strangely vivid. I was playing LoL (yeah I know, I know...addict hehe) inside my head and my mind was making up a complete match with all the players doing something different without me having influence on anything. At this point I was still reading the book and my eyes were open. After it went on I realized that I was in some kind of trance. I was still looking at the book but I was completely deepened in the scene. At this point I tried to actually influence on the scene and tried to somehow "enter" it. Immediately everything went crazy and it felt like I was getting sucked inside a black tunnel in my head. When it was over I realized that I was dreaming and had a awesome ld!
When I woke up again my eyes were still open but they were pretty dry and it hurt

Now I wanna know how this is possible ?! I mean how can you actually enter a dream while having your eyes open? Is it because of my sleep deprivation? And if so, would it be actually helpful to deprive yourself of a little sleep just to wild?

Amazing... one time in a dream I was looking at a shore that had a wierd form... after that i woke up slowly and realised i was looking at my matress with that exact form..)
maybe because you didn't payed atention to what ere you seeing, and it was static, it was easy to start dreaming... nothing was distracting you. also maybe you were too tired, so you didn't need to close your eyes... who knows???

I'm gonna move this to WILD
      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.

      That might be it
Maybe I should add that I had this "vivid daydreams" about 2 times before but this was when I woke up but didn't want get out of bed so I just stared at the ceiling for a long time. Hmm maybe this can be turned into a technique...
Haha just kidding (or not? ) but I really wanna know what's the cause of this because I didn't think such a thing is possible
