Be AWARE of your surroundings!
Lucid dream goals: Become a consistent lucid dreamer [], Jump off a building [], Visit mars [], Speak with my subconscious [], Create a work of art [], Meet my dream guide [], Materialize people and talk to them [], Relax on a beach under the stars []
Sounds like a good theory but unfortunately, I don't talk to people in my dreams. I'm usually by myself doing something or playing a game. |

I interact with people in my dreams, but not "a lot". I find that when I become lucid, it's at completely random times, regardless of whether or not I'm on a spaceship, at home, or talking to someone. The awareness is good, but I wouldn't confine it to just when you are having a conversation with someone; I'd raise my awareness other, multiple times during the day. I don't know if it's been confirmed that when you always raise your awareness while doing something specific, you'll have a lucid if you do that in a dream. |

We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

I like the sound of that! I'll try this |

Interesting theory, but I rarely interact with DCs. My most vivid LD's are when I am alone. Oh, there are usually people around but I purposely do not interact with them as, in my experience, it hastens and end to the LD. |
|
If this works for you, that's great. The higher your awareness, of anything, the higher your chance of becoming lucid. |
|
Yeah I tend to interact with dream characters in almost every dream I have now that I think about it. I'll start looking around and maybe even doing some movement-free reality checks when I talk to people in real life. Thanks for the tip! |

too bad I don't have a life and barely talk to anyone in WL.... |

Sounds like a good idea, now I just have to find a DC to talk to |
|
That is what I call "Anchoring". |
|
Yea, thats sounds like a very interesting theory!!! It is alot like ADA but as you said, people usually do it when they aren't busy or pre-occupied! |

How about doing a finger trough hand RC every time, instead of being aware? Because I'm already using kingyoshi's ADA. But nice theory. |

yes i think i practice ADA when i am not busy. Or if i suddenly remember to do ADA. |
|
So basically, do R.C.s and be aware when you do things in real life that you know you do in dreams? |
|
If I think about it, i dont actually really talk to DCs.... but good theory still. |

It doesn't matter. Just do it when you see someone doing something weird, or see one of your mates etc etc. |

Yeah, Origami, that's exactly what I'm saying in a broader sense |

Yeah, I agree. Being aware all day is like trying to do an R.C. everytime you encounter air in real life. It happens so often that eventually your R.C.s get unionized into your real life, so eventually they have no effect at all. R.C.s are supposed to stand out and make you open your eyes for a bit. If you do them all day every day like people say, eventually they will be as monotonous as breathing or blinking. |
|
Im sorry, but I have to say that you're wrong.. |

Or try doing an RC whenever you see something that commonly happens in your dream (If anything). |

I'll give this a shot. I agree, my dream journal results clearly show that most of my dreams involve other people. I think this could help me out, I'll let you know how it goes. |
|
I'm saying that if you do them enough, they will carry over to dreams and work the way they should. But if you do them too much, like I was saying before, they become too habitual and simple that you do them without thinking, when eventually you do it in a dream and don't even notice it. |
