      Questions about sleep paralysis

hi guys, could you answer a few sleep paralysis questions i have?

1.Is there any specific reason for someone not to have SP?
2.If you don't have SP, that means you're going to do things in real life when you're actually dreaming?
3.Is it harder to wild without SP?
4.Is it possible to enter SP/WILD without WBTB (and "without" a nap)?
5.If someone speaks while sleeping, it means that he didn't enter SP?
6.Do binaural beats (like I-Doser's Lucid Dream) improve your chances of having a dream or the're just placebo?

      (i'm sorry if i created a repeated thread...I didn't check it )

      Hi there!
I guess I'll get right to it then
      (1) The brain is a complicated thing; We are eons away from understanding it. There is definitely no specific reason why you would/wouldn't have sleep paralysis. It varies from person to person
      (2) I think what your getting at with this is: No SP = Sleep walking? I don't think so, but it could be proven otherwise. If you are referring to yourself, maybe your not deep enough into relaxation to reach that phase, you could simply be losing consciousness before that stage is reached.
      (3) This is an opinionated question. I believe that WILDING is completely different for each and every person. When following the tutorials and what-not, you should just be remembering key points, just to keep in your mind. Sometimes waiting for a queue that isn't there will lead to disappointment.
      (4) Of course! Although after a long day of being awake, your brain and body will want to recover. This will make it quite difficult to keep conscious while the body is asleep. Don't take my word for it though! People can do the strangest things.
      (5) No. Again, I am not completely sure, what I am sure of though is that there are studies and research on topics such as Sleep talking and Sleep walking. I believe it has to do with the subconsicous mind though.
      (6) Binaural Beats are used to affect the frequency of the brainwaves. It may lower them for a prolonged amount of time in the Delta or Theta stages, which are much lower frequencies, to increase REM and chances of LDing. This could also lead to deep sleep where nothing is happening in the brain.

I hope I helped a bit! Again, I don't know everything (I don't know alot, actually :\) you might just have to answer some questions for yourself! Happy dreaming!

      Thanks, that was really helpful
about the sleepwalking thing, a little bit of google and wikipedia helped me:

"Sleepwalking, also known as somnambulism, is a sleep disorder belonging to the parasomnia family. Sleepwalkers arise from the slow wave sleep stage in a state of low consciousness and perform activities that are usually performed during a state of full consciousness. These activities can be as benign as sitting up in bed, walking to the bathroom, and cleaning, or as hazardous as cooking, driving, extremely violent gestures, grabbing at hallucinated objects, or even homicide."
