Yes, I made this up. It worked for me on the second night.

How to do PMILD:

Preparation:

At some point during the day, do a repetitive movement exercise for about 20-30 mins.
You probably are wondering what the heck a repetitive movement exercise is. Don't worry, it's not push-ups or something. Okay, so remember when you were younger and would play on the swings at a playground, and afterwards would feel like you were still swinging? Well, it's kind of like that. Except you don't need to swing. There are other examples:

1. Jump rope.
2. Swim
3: Run in place.
4: Just stand still and swing your arms around.

Now, set an alarm for about 3 hours after you go to sleep.

Action!

Any of these will work, as long as you do it long enough to feel like you're still doing it after you've stopped. Preferably do these exercises in the evening or before you go to bed.
Then, get into bed. Close your eyes and fall asleep as usual. If you feel the phantom movements, you're on the right track. When the alarm wakes you up, don't move. Hopefully you still feel the movements. Now, visualize as clearly as you can yourself doing these exercises. Wiggle your toes the slightest bit. This is to remind yourself when you're dreaming. Keep visualizing.
After a minute or so, do a nose RC. If it comes out positive, keep visualizing and doing the nose RC for about 15 seconds, and then slowly get out of bed.
If it comes out negative, relax for a few moments. Keep visualizing. Then try again.

Hope this works!
