What method are you using? As it turns out this may be more of an issue with dream recall. Are you keeping a Dream journal? Can you remember other dreams? |

When I am in a lucid dream, the first thing I do it stabilize. I touch the ground and focus on sounds. After I do this, my dream is clear as waking life. Problem is, I do not remember anything after this. I wake up sometime afterwards, usually confused as to what happened. Any idea as to why I suddenly lose "consciencousness" in a dream? |

Think about it the 1st thing you regained conscious (wake). Do not open your eyes or think of any other things 1st. |

Goals:
1. Attacking my enemies instead of running away from them~ Ultimately taking control of my dream situation.
2. Remember that I can always summon a shield around me to protect myself in dreams. No need to fear!
I never waste time with that stabilizing crap anymore, I just immediately start exploring. |

In a lucid dream, I just realize I'm dreaming 9 times out of 10. And yes, I remember alot of my dreams, and I do keep a dream journal. And I learned the first time I woke up to never close close my eyes in a dream. |

Same here but I did find a way to close your eyes and stabilize the dream. You can close your eyes but you have to concentrate on all your other senses. I have heard of one guy saying grab very hot or cold things. Its something about engaging senses in this different world that brings more of ytour consciousness into that world. |

Might not be that applicable, but what used to happen to me is I'd become lucid, use something like telekinesis, then sink back into the dream. As in, I forgot I was myself, and thought I was the character in the dream. So telekinesis was merely their power, and I lost lucidity. Any chance you know if you're forgetting the dream right as you wake up, or just literally not remembering it at all? |
