is there ANY technique that doesn't require these things?

I've been really struggling with having lucids, and i've tried just about every technique out there. i gave some thought and reallized i have a hyperactive mind. i can't focus on one thought for longer than a few seconds unless i'm doing something physical, or have something right in my face, like a screen. when i tried using dream incubation, i tried to focus on what i wanted to do in my dream, which was videogame-related. then i thought of the videogames that this related to. my thought then shifted to what i'm trying to do in that videogame. then i... well, you get the point. by the time i realize what happened, my thoughts are on something completely off-topic. I also have a huge amount of trouble with Sleep Paralysis-related techniques. with WILD, i just can't seem to stay concious long enough to enter SP. with DEILD, i can't seem to enter a dream when i wake up in SP. with DILD, the RCs rarely work. Is there any technique out there that doesn't require SP, RCs, or focusing?

Focus is a requirement for life, dude.

I recommend meditation to get those thoughts in order!

Well, if you can't focus on something more than a few seconds, change the topic into a story-like adventure, so that you are constantly changing the topic, but always related to dreaming.

Don't get frustrated if your thoughts wander. That is one of the main ways we fall asleep. WILD is not like traditional meditation. You have to let your thoughts wander a little so you will fall asleep. The trick is to keep reminding yourself of your goal. Just make an effort to try and remind yourself that you are going to become lucid. You are going to recognize the dream when it starts. Keep bringing your attention back to that every so often, but don't stress about keeping it there. Bounce back and forth between your intention and your drifting, sleepy thoughts.

There are different methods, but the one I like (when I actually meditate. I'm not a hardcore meditator) is clearing your mind (although this may be difficult for you at first, you'll get better) and focusing on your breathing. Only your breathing. Don't force your breath, just observe it. Feel what it's like to inhale and exhale.

When you catch your mind wandering, bring it back to your breathing. This will teach you focus and not to let your thoughts wander so easily, which I think would be beneficial to you

Eventually you'll reach a stage where you're kinda "in a zone". You're just there. I like it

Take some bong hit's, then focusing on 1 thing at a time becomes much easier.

Lol weed makes my mind go crazy with off the wall thoughts and makes it harder for me to focus on one thing. It is awesome for meditation though, the CEVs can be pretty epic if you are stoned enough.
And I have to disagree with what is being said about meditation. Clearing your mind is only the first step; you should use this to quiet your conscious. After that you should let your subconscious take over. When I am in a really good state of meditation my mind is being bombarded with a constant flow of thoughts and images, but my conscious is detached and simply aware of the thoughts. I feel this state is very similar to WILDing. Simply observing either the HI or the subliminal thoughts without engaging any of them.
And regarding the OP. No. If you are going to lucid dream you kinda have to do at least one, if not all, of those things.

When I am laying in bed I visualize the floor of my dream that is all I think about. If I think about anything more complicated I get distracted. But I visualize the floor, if I am lucky (which I often am) my mind builds the rest of the dream around the floor I have already thought of and I can walk in to the dream fully lucid. Try this.
