this tutorial is aimed at those who find that their reality testing isn't as effective as it should be. Anyway, on with the tutorial...

STEP ONE

Do a reality test

throughout the day, pinch your nose and attempt to breathe and also carry some text or wear a digital watch so you can always have these reality checks available at all times. Research conducted by Dr LaBerge shows that in lucid dreams, you can breathe through your nose while pinching it. The research also showed that text changes 75% of the time it is re-read once and changes 95% of the time is re-read twice. If nothing has changed then you are probably not in the dream but it was definitely worth the check.

STEP TWO
Imagine the dream

once you are absolutely certain, if possible, that you are not dreaming ( as you can never be totally certain) imagine to yourself that 'I may not be dreaming now, but if I was what would I do?' Now visualise your dream scene has vividly as you are capable of. Involve all of your tactile senses what are you hearing? Why you feeling? What you seeing? Even imagine doing a reality check. Have something in mind that you wish to fulfil? Move onto the next step.

STEP THREE
Play out your chosen dream activity in your mind

I'm assuming that you have some idea of what you want to do when you become lucid if so great! If not decide on something. Whilst visualising your dream imagine yourself acting out your dream activity.

STEP FOUR
Promise yourself that you will become lucid and carry out your chosen activity

Again while you are imagining your dream scene tell yourself that 'the next time I'm dreaming, I will recognize that I'm dreaming and will do ( insert activity)' repeat this throughout the day or whenever you feel the need to reality check and this will be ingrained into your subconscious and hopefully you will become lucid. To maximise this techniques potential you should perform the steps while attempting a MILD induction.

I hope this has been useful and wish you all great success on your road to lucidity.
