Hey DreamViews! I'm averaging a post a day here :L

So what I want to know now is if eating or drinking before sleep can increase or decrease the chances of lucid dreams or dreams in general. Every night before I sleep I have a mug of hot chocolate (Areo mint FTW) and lately I've had rubbish dream recall. Not even rubbish I just haven't been able to remember anything. Last night I tried going to sleep earlier (11ish) and still couldn't remember a thing. I wake up about six on weekdays. Is it because I don't get enough sleep or because of the hot chocolate or is my dream recall just got really bad for some reason?
