A battle of lucidity!

I have had my share of accidental lucid dreams where I didn't really have control or know what was going on. But I want to know just how to get lucid as often as possible, considering I don't own an alarm clock. I need to figure it out fast for one reason. About a month ago I had my first truly lucid dream, through an accident with my cell phone I ended up being woken up every minutes without the energy to open my phone to stop the ringing, unfortunately I can't recreate the circumstance, anyway so I was having a dream, I can't remember what it was about but suddenly I just thought, this is a dream, and I was lucid. I did what I always planed to do and attempted to fly, no results, then I tried to bend the world around me, no result. So finally I shouted to the sky(although Technically I was in my house in the dream), "why don't you do what I say?" now I know on my first lucid dream I shouldn't expect to be in total control, but either way the response I got from my subconscious was, "Because we are against you." That kind of freaked me out because at the time, and still today, I have been struggling with things like trying to figure out who I am, etc. Now I have always been a troubled person, But to know my mind was against me, that is something else. Now many of you out there may think it was just a part of the dream and had no real meaning, but it explains so much about my problems, and why I find it hard to have dreams. Last night I had a nightmare, and I haven't had a nightmare since a couple years ago when I had my first lucid dream in the middle of a nightmare(before I knew anything about lucid dreaming) but this was no ordinary nightmare, it was terrifying, and not just because of what happened in it, I just had this feeling of sheer terror for no reason. Then today I realized the thing about nightmares is they don't have to be scary at all, your mind just tells you it is, and that feeling of fear it causes can be very intense, and that is what happened to me. So I decided that I am not just going to take this lying down, I am going to go deep into my mind and find the answers to this problem. Now I am here and I need any suggestions you have. Please, I can't do this without help.
