Anyone Had bad experiences with Galantamine+Choline?

I have been trying to have a LD for 6 months now and having tried pretty much everything ( NLP Hypnotherapy , RCs , external cues ) I went and bought Galantamind( choline+galantamine+b5) as my last resort and took one 4mg galantamind with one 200mg L-theanine at 330AM on WBTB and i went back to bed after 10 minutes with affirmations ; and i just tossed and turned until 10AM ; no sleep whatsoever , and i think i remember drifting into a very non vivid non lucid dream in that what looked like a comatose state of conciousness...This is soooo disappointing especially after reading all the success stories with this supplement and getting nothing but a insomnia and a half assed dream...I am just wondering if anyone out there had similar experiences with Galantamine...

i had a terrible time getting back to sleep on it without the l-theanine, but youve got that.

-how long did you sleep before WBTB?
-i find its best to take the L-theanine right when you wake up, stay awake for a few mins, then take the G+C as you go back to bed

there is a huge thread on it in here somewhere....

however, here are some more general questions:
-do you have a dream journal?
      -how is your dream recall?

I think I slept like ~4hrs and perhaps I am thinking maybe i needed more ?
I took the LTheanine at the same time as the Galantamind and now thinking about it , you are right about the time interval between 2 supplements being the way to go . Next time i think I will take the LTheanine + 300mg melatonin mixed in water about 30-45 minutes before i go back to bed and hopefully this will knock me back to sleep...
Yes I do have a dream journal and the dream recall is 1-3 dreams on average and i will have the occasional 3+ dream recall but usually 1-3 per night
I can recall them in moderate detail...
One factor which i think might be adversely effecting my ability is my meditation ; I have been practicing Transcendental Meditation for 15 years now , and what i found out about TM is that it promotes a state called '' Dream Witnessing '' which is non participatory as oppose to lucid dream state which is participatory . This is purely an educated guess , and I havent found and research paper between TM and lucidity that supports that
Have you tried the amino acid combo where quite a lot of people had some form of success ?

i have not tried the amino acids

from what ive seen and read, the meditation should help you get lucid, not hinder. keep trying other methods to do it naturally as well as the G+C. i feel that the G+C has helped me become more aware of the lucidity and hence lucid more often even when i am not taking it.

do not take melatonin with your wbtb, it will interfere with your REM. melatonin should be taken at bedtime.

What I remember from Thomas Yuschaks book on LDS is that melatonin within the range of 300mg doesn't interfere with the REM...Thanks for the tutorial i will check it out...yeah i am pretty much on with the natural methods but I need a some sort of breakthrough as my motivation is wearing thin and hoping that G+C will have the same effect you described ; to make future LDs easier without the G+C
