Anybody else feel this thing at the center of your chest?

Hey guys I 'm one of the newbies here and had a question.

Through no fault of my own I did a CANWILD. I went to bed relatively early using relaxation and binaural beats for about 30 minutes then went to sleep and dreamt normally. then I woke up too early to be awake and then i attempted to WILD again and got into an even deeper relaxed state but my stomach started growling and i could not focus so i gave up and went to sleep.

then it was pitch black and i had the hypnogogic hallucination of a showerhead running water near me. i stretched my hand out to it and i felt some sort of pulse of "energy" at my solar plexus. and i thought i was LD'ing and tried to change stuff but it was all still pitch black i was not LDing but just going through SP. i felt that energy again and then i was pulled back to fully awake.

now my question is this...does anyone else feel that odd thing at the center of your chest when LD'ing? and how do you differentiate the hypnogogic hallucination and lucid dreaming?

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean... only I don't feel any "pulse of energy" -- I feel more like weights have been put on the center of my chest. It only happens when I'm trying to WILD... and I'm guessing the lucid dream is more vivid, more detailed. I'm not too sure, though - I've yet to fully succeed with a WILD. I just randomly end up in the middle of a dream and realize that I'm dreaming after the hypnogogic hallucinations, rather than the slow process described in induction technique instructions. For me, though, hypnogogic hallucinations are sort of two-dimensional, like I'm watching TV or playing an odd 3D game - dreams are far more vivid, with far more detailed surroundings and people.

now I have felt the weights before but they are usually lower on my chest and are accompanied by a figure on my chest but the last 2 SP's i've had are in the center of my chest. thing is this is how i slipped into a false awakening last time. I just gave up and went to sleep. i guess i'm just to excited about it.
