Home is where your heart is.
That sounds interesting, but that sounds similar to a V-WILD or a V-MILD (yay I coined new term!). |
|
You don't have to repeat a mantra until you fall asleep. You can repeat it maybe for five minutes then just sleep normally. Most people are going to keep themselves awake visualizing that. People tend to get a misconception of what MILD really is. It's not about mantras, or autosuggestion. |

When we are dreaming alone it is only a dream. When we are dreaming with others, it is the beginning of reality. ~Dom Helder Camara
ive got to try mild every night. its not a technique, really. its a habit to get into. a wild is a technique in my eyes. ill try this though. it is funner |

Honestly, it doesn't matter what you use to get lucid, the end result is the same. Well, not entirely the same... WILDs DO seem to be more vivid. Or maybe we just expect them to be. Everybody can learn to DILD. But I guess it'll never be enough because people wanna say, "Oh yeah baby, I can WILD". |

Lucid dreams, gotta love em.
Visuals are apart of MILD.. Its called dream incubating... It can be a talkshow or... ANYTHING.. But make sure its something you enjoy and you can relate to. |

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
I disagree. When I MILD, I rarely become lucid from what I was visualizing. I just suddenly remember what I was supposed to do. |

Elucive, you should write a tutorial about your MILD technique |

Lol, it's nothing special. I just do it exactly how Laberge explains it in his book. I guess it works so well for me because i've attempted it so many times it's programmed into my head. I believe anyone can have success with this technique if they just stay persistent. Do it soooo many times that it just becomes second nature.. |

Lucid dreams, gotta love em.
Do you do it during the day or do you wake up to do it during the night? |

Home is where your heart is.
Well, it depends. My day starts at 8am. But if something comes up and I get to stay in bed till 10, that's when I do it. I just repeat to myself a few times that I'll remember to recognize I'm dreaming. It's kinda hard to explain though because it's not really the sentence itself I'm repeating, it's the IDEA. The idea of remembering I'm dreaming is what I think about. After a couple minutes, I'm set. I just know that there's no way I can forget to become lucid. I go to sleep normally and then all of a sudden I'll notice something weird, or just randomly remember, "Oh yeah I remember now!! I'm dreaming!!". |

Lucid dreams, gotta love em.
But I imagine that to be able to do this on demand whenever you get to get up at 10, you must have done it much more frequently at first, right? |

Elucive, how intensively do you practice MILD when just learning it, compared to when it has been incorporated as your "second nature". Thankss |

Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.
