Trying to WILD, but cant get HI

Quick question, tonight at around 12 I decided to astral project, or wild into an LD. I got to the point where I had a mild sleep paralysis. My hands felt like they were tightly clenched onto something, I couldn't feel my legs. But for some reason I can still feel the bed pushing against me as I lay there. I also have full control over my head. I get mild auditory hallucinations, and sometimes it looks like shadows over my eye lids. But I layed there until 1:45 (it felt like ten minutes). I never had a dream or anything, just i was completely relaxed. Am I doing something wrong? I woke up cause I though I was in the void, but I wasn't. And I can get to sp very easily. Just its very mild. No vibrations or anything like that. I was thinking I had to get up after falling asleep and doing it.

yeah I was so close to my first WILD last night, except I started to sense a dream forming, I felt as If i was spinning around on a roller coaster, but then I got too excited and thought about it too much so it ended : (

Mild sleep paralysis? You're either in it or you're not. You need to perform a wake back to bed... Don't let that numbness feeling confuse you with sleep paralysis. Anyone can become numb if they stay still for a long time. Before you try a wild you gotta check all the details.
      Lucid dreams, gotta love em.

The void is the 3d black space, there is nothing in it but your conscious awareness and your "dream" or "astral" body. Its there when you slip out of a lucid dream. And there right before a lucid dream.

How long does sleep paralysis take, I don't think I get it. Nor do I get HI. I mean I slept for 5 hours, woke up at 7 after a dream ended. I got up, wrote down my dream and got my mind aware. I laid back down. Waited for the numbness feeling to take over, but couldn't see any HI or even get SP? What am I doing wrong?
