      Tell me about safe, but FAST and cool looking CARS!

      Alright, so my old '99 jalopy has finally worn down I think. It's nearing that time for me to buy a new car. Problem is, idunno diddly squat about cars! I know I should, but that's why I'm here, right? :p

      So, I am wondering if anyone can give me their opinion about a car that is nice/modern/sporty looking, but is also fast, well built, and SAFE.

      I'd kinda like to go with a sports car of some type, or a muscle car. I know I like the LOOK of the Shelby Mustang GT500kr but I don't know about its safety and performance. I just know I like the specs and I love the look. I also understand that BMWs are great automobiles, that are fast and well built, but all I know about them is general. I think I'm kind of trying to stray away from SUV's -- I've had one for years now, and it chugs gas like no other!

      But I'm still open to SUV suggestions if there is a really fancy looking one. I just want a really cool looking, high-performance vehicle.

      Any suggestions?

      I'd go wit the Mitsubishi Evo 10. It has great handleing and well... here let me give you a video.



      You can get a used one for about 30,000 if you are lucky. If that is too far out of your price range, then go with the lancer evo 8. Those come pretty cheap and look really nice aswell.

      And also i do love the Mazda RX8. Very sporty looking and a nice ride aswell.

      My son has a 2008 Mitubishi Eclipse, we opted for the "low horsepower" one. At 160HP, it's pretty darn powerful. I can just imagine what the GT with it's extra 100 HP can do!
