Tell me about: Vancouver

I've been feeling myself drawn to Vancouver(British Columbia, Canada) for about a year now, and I'm thinking of going to school up there when I finish my Associates degree at the community college I'm at now. Tell me everything about Vancouver, from the colleges to the culture. What's fun to do there? How is the cost of living? What's the best school? How is public transportation(and the costs of it)? Are jobs easy to find? Where's the best neighborhood for a college student on a budget, that's into the hippie/rock/art/drug scene, to live? What's the weather like?(personal opinions, I hate reading stats) I know BC is the bud capital of Canada, but how easy/difficult is it to find other shamanic drugs(mushrooms, mescaline, peyote, LSD, etc.)? And anything else you can add about the city.
