tell me how to make the world a better place

i recently posted a rant. it was just a rant, that's it. my head felt cluttered as if the worlds problems were my own. i guess because they are. anyway people were saying that i could sit there and bitch about it but it wasn't going to change anything unless i acted on it.

so my dilemma is that i cannot conceive how the average person can change the world except for trying to be a better person themselves and hoping people notice and follow suite.

i have a sense of conviction regarding humanity's faults. i write music about it. maybe i'll get signed and i can give this music to the masses. until that day, what can i do to MAKE A DIFFERENCE. if i felt strongly about something and there was a protest i'd participate. i don't know enough people to organize one. i'm not going to stand on a corner shouting and cramming my views down peoples throats. i'm not in a position of power.

i don't know what to do.

You do make a difference. Sometimes you might not be aware of it, but you directly in indirectly can and do impact many lives, every single day. You may not even know it, but just b/c you don't know it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Your actions can make big and small differences on all sorts of people, which in return effect others. It isn't a hard concept. Our words and actions are powerful. They can be like white and black magic. You can use your actions and words for good, or not. You can make or break someone's day or even longer by simple facial expressions and a simple word of encouragement or not. Small actions like sending someone you know a card just to say hi, and big actions like working a site of a natural disaster, everything matters.
Those are my thoughts. And the power of thoughts can also be a driving force to make things happen.

And experience it as a place to visit and play with reality.
You are becoming aware of yourself as a game master.

You must organize! I was listening to Ron Paul, and alone you will have a hard time making a difference, but a group of individuals can gain enough momentum to make a difference.
