Tell me how much looks matter to you.

Well as me for a guy, I am just being honest. Any girl I'm with I must find them attractive with there looks. It can just be her face that I'm attracted to, but it has to have some certain looks. I've never gone out with a girl that wasn't attractive physically in her looks. It's just something I don't find attractive, if a girl looks as best as she can then she's trying and I'd definatly consider her as a possible women I'd be interested in.

But if she has a nast/ugly attitude/character/personality then BOOM she's dropped. That's just me, my way, my opinion, my character.

I don't judge any girl by her looks, I just want what's attractive in my eyes.

I am attracted to good looking people, but keeping in mind, I can't judge a book by it's cover, so I don't just base my attraction on looks.

For me it's chemistry of the mind, body and spirit. :D

I must say, I look for personallity more then looks. But, if some girl was so ugly you would turn away at first glance, no thanks.

Well, to me, looks are fairly important. Now, I'm a pretty narcissistic guy, and I do believe that I am hot. When I look for a date, which is not often, given my social awkwardness, looks are a pretty key factor. I look for someone with common interests and an interesting personality, but realistically, as long as I am lucky enough to have a relationship, I'm happy.

Looks matter a fair amount to me, probably more than they should. However, I'm not attracted to girls that fit the normal definition of hot. I'm much more attracted to average looking girls.

I think most people see it like that, if we were all attracted to the same look then we'd all be getting in each others way. I assume your talking about the beauty contest winner, thats more based on critical analysis, when a movie is based poorly because it doesn't have the best of every part of it, doesn't mean it is bad. The girls who win the beauty contest have to be beautiful in a way that encompasses as many people as possible.

The same can be said for top of the charts bands, their all mainstream, most of us could say we like other bands because they go off on a ledge and play especially for are taste.

Of course, I think this is what makes us human, that we all have a different taste in what we like.

Seriously, many guys just go for the looks and whistle when they see a nice looking woman and stuff like that.
Well, it can be a +, but not much more. How the person acts, live the life, thinks about different stuff and so on do i think makes much more sense.

well i think looks definitely play a role in relationships and such, but to me, they aren't huge. as long as they have good hygiene, and they aren't like repulsive, then i am fine with it. i mean, some of the greatest peeps i have known weren't all that great looking. i think as long as i can have an intellectual convoersation and not feel dumber by the second, then i am fine with it. i tried dating this guy who wasn't all that great lookng and i thought maybe his personality would be better, and nope. dead horse, and no intelligence really, so it was a huge turn off. i like to learn, and if a guy can teach me while in a relationship by simple conversation, i am all there...
