What do you predict cars will be like 10 years from now?

as for your question, mes, i think that cars in 10 years will be pretty much the same. no flying cars, no self-driving cars, or any of the other fantasies we have about the automobiles of the future. i could see a primitive self-driving system by 2025 though.

they will however, be "greener". hybrids will increase in popularity and truck sales will sag (kinda wats happening now). and design will be a bit more... er... modern. i really mean the cars will have a more angular design but at the same time focused on aerodynamics to improve fule efficiency.



i have even designed my own car (i hope to start a company someday. ambitious, i know) if you would like to see it, i will post it.

Yeah, I'd definitely like to see it! I'm more interested in the possible future designs of cars rather than all the other stuff. I agree that they won't be flying or anything any time soon. But I am excited to see something awesome-looking a few years down the line.

what's the difference between a 351 modified, windsor and cleveland?

ok, THAT'S what i was talking about in my initial post.

as for the "easy stuff":

1. the car is not warmed up and it is cold out
2. many things, but probably unburnt oil coming out of the tail pipe

Why don't ya just upload them to photobucket first and then post them using the img tags? I don't think there's an option to directly upload to a post. I haven't seen one, at least...

i cant remeber what car holds it, but the time was 32 hours 7 minutes.
the current leader is Alex Roy in his BMW "team polizei" M5. time: 31 hours 4 minutes.
is this one of the "lame" attempts you spoke of?

Tell me this. We've had the potential for gas-free cars for years now. Diesel cars can apparently run on used cooking oil. This car gets 88 mpg, and was made twelve years ago.

We have the technology. After 10 years, it should've been affordable. Why aren't we all driving them now?

well, to answer your question, abra, i think its human nature to resist change as long as possible. this means that, untill they are forced to by lack of gasoline, the car makers will not change thier ways. very sad

Anyways. I know about cars myself but there's one question I can't answer. Perphaps you can tell me. So there is : Do you have any ideas why did Pagani Zonda made only 25cars in teh whole world? They are not that expensif as bugatti...

Yeah, that was one of the "lame" attempts. It might be coool to try and break the record using hi tech wizardry to avoid the police, but when the record was set there were no extras apart from a larger fuel tank.

The record was set in 1979, by Dave Heinz and Dave Yarborough, driving a showroom fresh Jaguar XJS V12. The time was 32 hours 51 minutes, at an average of 87 mph.

Had a look at your concept car. Not exactly my thing, but not bad!
