Tell me about 'that moment' of heaven.

I've never asked anyone before but, tell me about that moment you have when you are suddenly filled with like, power.

Ok, maybe I didn't phrase that so well.. Like when you get a stimulating, powerful feeling, usually on seconds long. For me this tends to occur:

-When listening to a particularly explosively brilliant moment of music
-Thinking of something good in the future etc
      -random intervals
      -other, curious things..

but it just feels like you want to burst into flames with joy and power and charged-ness.

      get it?

You mean that moment when your body dumps tons of adrenaline, seratonin, and other endorphins into your bloodstream simultaneously?

      Yeah, that's a great feeling!
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Random times? Are you sure there is not some event causing it?

I once beat up some guy, and got a minor adrenaline shot with it. I felt like I was flying and was not afraid of anything, though I didn't feel that power, like if I could lift a car or something

I tend to get it at absolutely random times, like when watching a film (and nothing spectacular is happening).

      Or in class. or whatever..

I know the feeling. You can try harvesting it, with NLP. When you experience the feeling, do something unique (bite the inside of your mouth in a particular way, snap a rubber band around your wrist, etc.) to condition yourself to associate the two feelings. Then, like after a month of doing this consistently (like do it every day), when you need a boost sometime, you can just do the motion you associated it with, and you will feel the same rush at will.

When I get that, Carosoul, I can start breathing more, and enhance the feeling throughout my body mentally, and make it feel like an entire body orgasm. It's not as strong as a real orgasm, but it sure soothes one out. I think I once got 4 or 5 of those in a row, it was amazing O.o

I know what you're talking about. Sometimes it comes when good things happen, or I imagine things happening, but I can also 'harvest' it like Replicon said. Except it's not mental or anything, somehow I can just make my whole body ripple with that feeling. It's weird, I can't explain it.

      :O

Little Marvo... beat someone up... and enjoyed it... :O

      On-Topic:
I get these all the time. Sometimes when listening to certain types of music, or just randomly.

I can also bring on this feeling now... i don't really know how i do it, i just do.
Sort of breathe deep and quick letting the feeling wave over my whole body, then it becomes like a really intense yawn feeling...
      ..and oooooohh.

      Like a really warm shiver.

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

I get that feeling onstage when everything is working and everybody is having FUN. Being connected with a large group of people like that is just the most awesome experience.

I've also had it several times in overcoming things that have terrified me. Twice now I've been dragged into court over a family situation, faced somebody (and her attorney) who genuinely frightens me because of her complete lack of being in touch with reality and an inability to understand the consequences of her actions on the lives of others, and walked away victorious just by representing ourselves and telling the simple truth. It's too bad that those moments have to come in the face of such discomfort and unpleasantness - but those victories are especially sweet and I need to be very careful about losing the real tragedy of the "big picture" when those battle wins happen. (Just so there's no confusion, this is not an ex wife - I'm happily married, and married only once.)

I had it a couple weeks ago while tearing a house down with my bare hands. Accomplishing big tasks tends to bring it on for me as well.

Mostly guitar and bass. I sing very rarely, but it's a real kick when I do.

I'm with a band that has been together, in its same form, on and off again for 25 years. We do our own material, and only get out to play a few times a year. That's probably why it is so special to me when it happens. (We did a fund raiser for a private school two weeks ago. The response was just staggering.)

Wow that's really awesome! getting a roaring cheer on a stage is always one of those moments (even if you're not doing anything hehe).

Music completely does this for me. When I listen to a good song, normally it slowly leads into the chorus, and it has that split second of silence before everything happens... it's beautiful

I often just take a moment to reflect on the futility and pointlessness of existence. For some reason it makes me happy and I get that feeling.

You'll have to do it diligently for a month. Many recommend you get yourself in a state every day where you feel that feeling (either by relaxing and picturing a memory that made you feel it until you feel it, or by listening to music, or doing anything that makes you feel it) and then perform your anchor (scraping your tongue with your teeth). Make sure you do the scraping the same way every time.

You are obviously a very passionate person. I am the same. Sometimes it is so bad that I cannot breathe unless I stand up and pound on my chest lol.

I get it the worst when I have been out in the woods for a few weeks and think about never going back to the house.

Being in love does it, as does music and thinking about a way of life I wish I could have.

I felt this once, I was drinking all night on a saturday woke up early started drinking again with the people I was living with we all got a ride to the beach, we went swimming in some really cold water. Basically my mindset was that everything was perfect, and I felt what I think to be complete bliss, it felt like I had a white light shining from my chest. It lasted about 30 seconds.
