Tell me about getting your nipple pierced

Alright, so I'm getting mine done today. Who on DV has gotten theirs? What should I expect during the healing process, and what did you find most helpful to relieve pain and whatnot. I'm leaving now, wish me luck.

Well originally I wanted an eyebrow piercing, but my mom said she didn't want anything on my face. She said I should just get a nipple piercing. I agreed, so she said she'd pay for it for my 16th birthday. Well, my 17th is coming up in four days and she decided that we'd best do it so she's not exactly a year late. :p EDIT: Woops, didn't see yours DDK. Yeah, nipple piercings on girls are hot, and yeah, they do hurt. Apparently it hurts a lot more for guys though, so much in fact that some have passed out. Good thing I have a high pain threshold.

Hey, at least I'm not actually getting a ring that goes from nostril to nostril! Anyways, it's been done. I decided to get it on the left side with a hoop. Heh, almost passed out when he was doing the marking. That was anticipation + me not having anything to eat today or anticipation + me being a pussy. Got a glass of water, sat down, felt better, he marked it. Then I layed down and it went through, hurt quite a bit. But it looks good. Can't move. Ah, that's so cool, CB. Will we get pix? Definately, once it's healed more. I'm trying not to breathe at the moment.

It's supposed to stop stinging in about a week. Perhaps then. It'll take 6-8 weeks to fully heal, though. Ahh... the pain we put ourselves through.

Hehe, it's not a permanent hole. If you take it out the skin grows over, just like it would with the ear. 'Cept the nipple piercing would have a bit of scar tissue but nothing too blatant. I actually know someone who got their 'you-know-what' pierced, too. Cool guy. Weird, but cool guy. Ya nipple piercing isnt my thing but i really want an eyebrow piercing! The reason I settled for a nipple piercing was because my mom didn't want me to get an eyebrow piercing, which makes sense. Nothing on my face, at least the nip ring can be hidden. And really, that sucks for the girl. It's just a horrid thought. I've thought the same thing with ear piercings as well.
