What does it mean? I always hear it in films, and around teh interwebz when talking to Americans, but don't have a clue what ya'll mean by it... Is it more like a serious relationship rather than casually seeing someone? |

No that's not it at all, n00bs
"Going steady" is an older phrase used to describe a "serious" high school relationship. Simply means you are not seeing anyone else.
