Tell me what is your favorite foreign country?

I think that mine would either be Romania, India, or Japan. Probably Romania.

      Amsterdam.

But when you say "foreign country"...as opposed to what kind of country?

I really really liked Switzerland, but I also enjoyed Italy a ton...

      Hmm..Italy I guess

      Second place: Switzerland
Third place: I'd have to agree with Kushna on Holland

Favorite one I've been to? WALES! Beautiful mountains, coast, castles, forests, villages. Everything legendary you could want. Note that I mean Wales in the summertime.

(Also been to Japan, England, and France.)

Hurray for Canada (that's my country lol)

The only foreign country I've been to(beside USA) is Burkina Faso (located in North Africa)
It was a "voyage humanitaire" (sorry no idea how you say that in english lol! )
These people were sooo kind, so amazing (can't find the proper english words to describe how they're wonderful)
I've learned so much from them, I've lived in a family for 2 weeks. These people are so happy
always saying "There's no problem". They don't try to find/create problems, they are not being individual(like our country),
they live like a community. Everyone knows everyone and they care about each other.

It was just one of the most fantastic experience I had the chance to live and I'll remember it for ever~

The UK, cause its the only one I've visited besides Mexico and I was to young to really remember Mexico, plus we were just at a resort. But I went to England and Scotland and loved Scotland, especially Loch Ness, it was just beautiful.

I'm surprised at the popularity of Japan. "Japanese people are respectful, happy and sociable people. And all of the other reasons people stated. I just gotta live there. Much better then U.S.A and Canada. Again GO ASIA!!!" Respectful, maybe. But happy and sociable? You must note that Japan is the country with one of the highest suicide rates, it is the place where people work themselves to death, where you have to deal with never having very much space. From what I've heard the students live extremely busy lives with little to no time for themselves. Don't get me wrong, I want to visit Japan because of the intrigue of such an odd place, but I feel as if people are only paying attention the things they've seen of Japan on the internet and television and imagining qualities that don't exist or are not as prevalent as they have been led to believe.
Yeah, not sure if its true, but I heard kids are raised from a very young age to excel and one certain skill or task. Which to some people may sound like a good thing, but at the same time it means they don't get much of a say in the matter. Still, I know someone who went to Japan and stayed with a family there, and he loved it, I think it changed his life and all.
