      When i get in writing slumps

      So i write myself motivational pieces when i get into writing slumps...

      I thought i would share my most recent one with you

      The metal is strong but my will is stronger;
      The years are long but i will endure longer:
      The goals are high but i'll continue to climb higher;
      The challenges become hard but my determination is solid;
      I will build my success one pen stroke at a time;
      One strong, enduring, highly determined pen stroke at a time
      (I may post more.)

      This one i did when i was having trouble with my LD's and sleep

      slowly the sand sifts softly through;
      slowly my mind wanders to and fro;
      modestly my dreams fail to debut;
      so i close the eyes that bind me so;
      and quickly the dreams begin surface;
      Lucidity will be the key to all of this;
      I state "with Lucidity i'll control the grain, and the flow, and keep the sand till i wake";
      With Lucidity i become the Sandman
