Thread: Director's Logo HELP PLEASE!!

Hey fellow artists.
I'm designing a logo for a directing company which is starting out. All he wants are designs and he is going to take the photos. He doesn't want a solid graphic or cartoony style, just a photographic look.

This is what I have so far, could you help me out with some ideas or critiques on mine?

I see the scissor idea with the most potential as a logo, but I dunno if it's the criteria he's looking for if he wants it photographic looking... then again a photo of the scissors would look fine for me with the text along with it. I'm thinking the road/cliff idea is good, and if it's a good picture, will work out quite well.

Thanks Spenner, Yeah I was thinking the scissors or the little "take 1" snappy thing they use with the chair and the cone shaped thing they use. (don't know the names for either of these things lol could someone help me out?)

The scissors are more simple so it would work well at any size.
