Thread: Some Of My Art

Hi!

I've just decided to upload some of my stuff. I'm an avid musician and artist and like to challenge myself with big projects. Anyways, here are a few tedious projects that I have done in the past while. I might upload some drawings tomorrow since I haven't gotten them scanned. Anyways:

The Epic High Tea Set:
This tea set is made using the art of quilling, also known as paper filigree. It consists of rolling up thin strips of paper to either create spirals or solid things. You can see examples of both in all the objects and with the table and chairs. The whole piece stands about 5 inches long, 2 inches wide and 3 inches tall. I had to revise all the patterns to make everything smaller and more proportional, and then make my own for the tea stands. The set has tea cups, plates, high tea stands, a pedestal bowl, a vase with flowers, a sugar bowl and creamer, and of course food

The Friendship Glove
Ever heard of friendship bracelets? Yea, that's what this is, except a LOT bigger. Took me 3 weeks of tying goddamn knots. It got really boring after a while. Also shows a picture of it before it was done.
