Thread: Cartoon Art

Here's some sketches I did based on several animated cartoon projects I've been working on in my extremely sparse spare time.

This is an image that sums up the premise for a cartoon I am working on for YouTube. The main character, Miles Parker, is constantly at odds with the hyper-popular school hottie Josh Paulsen (who is never seen because I could never draw someone so sickeningly perfect.)


This is a conceptual image of an animated short I'm simultaneously working tentatively titled "Different Neighbors." It's a story based on a really cool dream I had back in 2003 where four adolescents wage a battle against their neighbor, who is an extraterrestrial bent on kidnapping them for study. He is holding a flashlight which induces unconsciousness, a tool he uses to advance the plot. The four images in the center are scenes I may include in the actual short.


Anyway, I'll post more as I doodle. Expect to see more of Miles, I've got a lot going on this one.
