"Granville Islanded 2" looks rather peculiar and stands out from the rest. What interested you about that one?

well, to make a long story short, ive always been interested in rusty and old things aswell as how things develop and change over time, for instance that building used to be a warehouse, now it has progressed into a day parking storage. i guess im just interested in the history of things.
also, when i was walking by that looked really erie so i snapped the photo

also, now some sketches uploaded to flikr.
annddd, soon to come 2 drawing that ive been working on for a few days now, so bear with me!

I like the signpost, particularly the sun and the water. Your penstrokes on the water make it look kinda like ripples.

The street corner reminds me of Silent Hill. Something with the shutters and style of old-looking buildings.

The tree looks kinda neat. Looks like it could use more landscape detail though. An environmental picture like that is usually better in paints, because then it has more texture.

The random doodle is ... random.

With drawing clouds, you might wanna try making them more vague. Like, by shading them and not having an outline. Or you could also do the opposite, where the sky is shaded, and there are blank spots to show clouds.

thanks for the comments, the signpost actually took me a night to do, being that there is alot of shading in it.
as for the street corner, i've never seen silent hill and dont really plan to any time soon lol.
Altho i dont really use much paints i normally just do sketches with pen or pencil, painting for me takes far too long w/ the mixing and cleaning and all.

ive tryed clouds both ways and either work, its alot of efort coloring the whole sky tho
