music theory... help... please.

So, I'm writing this song for piano, using the C Enigmatic scale, C Db E F# G# A# B. So, I'm doing my sheets, and my question is... I know I can't just flat the D and sharp the F, G and A in the key signature, easy and sensible as that would be. (Or can I?) So, do I have to just call it the key of A and then whenever an A appears, sharp it, whenever a C# appears, natural it, and whenever a D appears, flat it? This makes no sense. Why should I bother with a key signature that doesn't reflect the notes I'm using? Help.

Why should I bother with a key signature that doesn't reflect the notes I'm using? Help. You just put your finger on it. You can't bother with the key signature, because it doesn't make traditional sense. Just write out the accidentals as they happen, and bugger the key signature. Or maybe you could just combine the sharps and flat in the key signature.. Or maybe sig it as F# G# A# and accidental the Db on the fly.. you're outside the box with this one, so do whatever you want as long as it makes sense to you playing it. half - whole and a half - whole - whole - whole - half - half wow.. different. Have fun!

No offense, but that's not the most pleasing scale I've ever heard.

About the scale not being very pleasing... It isn't. At all. You should hear the chords I'm deriving from it. It's avant garde, I'm using this A#-B-C-Db chord, it makes this kind of sonic blurry noise when you play it within one octave. I'm really only asking the question because it'd be useful to know if I ever wanted to seriously write sheets. EDIT: Also, thanks for easing my confusion, guys.

Inverting it, you don't get the... "beat", I think it's called, the whooshy, warbly, dissonance between the notes, and it just sounds awkward and ugly. Not that I don't already consider it fairly harsh, it's just that, inverted, it loses a certain quality that is the reason I'm using it.
