Thread: pictures of everyday things that seem eerily dream-like.

A lot of these are slightly blurred, because many of my dreams tend to have a slight blur to them, almost like a lot of paintings do.

These I happen to have taken myself, but if you want to post some I suppose they could be other peoples' as well...or even drawings of dream-like things...

A portrait of my friend Spill, in a place I call the Secret Garden. Typical hippie: outdoors, skirted, barefoot, and playing the guitar. I also think this picture looks very much like it could be a painting.




I took so many pictures of this puddle of gasoline, it's about ridiculous.


This also reminds me of Radiohead's video for Karma Police.


This hallway seems haunted. The picture doesn't even do it justice.








This is my favorite place in the whole world. An oasis in an otherwise dreary city. I call it the Secret Garden...it's very close to my heart and I dream about it often.


Wet streets at night. Reminds me of one dream in particular...


A bush, obviously. But a very pretty one.




That couple in the photo is an elderly couple I watched walk all the way down the road together, out in the middle of nowhere. For some reason I had the fleeting thought that they could be Henry Miller and Anais Nin.


I sometimes get this effect in my dreams, usually when I'm fleeing from something scary. This is actually just a picture of a bunch of beauty products in a bathroom.

In this picture I was actually just trying to take a picture of the weird bug in the foreground...but I'm so happy it came out this way.


A literal oasis, smack-dab in the middle of a huge forest. I have so many pictures of this place.
