So I got a guitar a few weeks ago as a late birthday present, plus an amp, string (Broken two already) an electric tuner (That I don't use) picks, and a little book with lessons in it to play.

I got a bit down on the notes, right, and I started checking out some Tabs on the 'Netz to see how I fare, and, I can decently strum the strings and hold and switch notse, start testing them out and do okay, until I try to do some of the chords.

My FSM, I cannot figure out how to hold my fingers over the frets correctly! ()

I'm trying to do these chords:
