      Exo's Gallery 2.0 (Terragen)

This was my first Terragen creation. It was created entirely through trial and error and just general experimentation with the buttons, options and configurations. I spent about an hour of random tinkering on this.

My second piece made in Terragen. I spent much longer on this, and this was done after a lot of reading, learning and really finding out what everything did. I'm much more proud of this.

I did screw it up slightly with the camera angle, as you might notice you can see "off" the scene a bit on the left hand side, beside the mountains.

Nonetheless, I think this is the best of my first two pieces. You can really see the difference random experimentation(Pic 1) and experimentation after understanding everything(This Pic) can make.

Third piece. It's still a work in progress. I whipped this together rather quickly, and my computer wasn't cooperating. I'll likely expand on it more later, but I think it turned out rather well for an experimentation piece.

Nice. Me and my bro would faff around on VistaPro back when, which was the DOS (originally Amiga) equivalent.

Nice work, Exo, especially the second one. I really should post some of my Terragen stuff one of these days.

I don't know much about TerraGen so I don't know whether that is "technically" good, but I liked it.

What's the learning curve like with it?

Wait until Terragen 2 comes out, should be right around the corner.

The learning curve isn't actually all that steep. Its pretty easy to get the hang of. I only wish there was an option for vegetation, but I have to wait for TG2 before I have that option.

      Anyway, 2 new pieces!
