Thread: Marks Drawings etc

So here is my first upload.

Its my first time using Photo shop and I have been experimenting with the tools on it etc

Its meant to be a Volcano in the foreground and a snow covered mountain and clouds etc in the back ground. Its not finished yet I still need to detail the forgroundand the space between the volcano and the mountain in the distance.

Nice, I was expecting something a lot worse than that. I like it a lot.

I like it a lot too; it's really good. I love the shapes of the clouds. The moon and the sky are beautiful. It's cool how you made a volcano in the mountains.

You should do some of your dream stuff too.

I will def do some of my dreams. I tried to do the light falls on photoshop but no matter how hard I tried I couldnt get the light to look anything like I wanted it to

Hey, the modifications are make the picture much better! Nice running lava.

I don't know if it's purposeful or just a result of using photoshop, but I love the style of that picture! It looks almost like paintbrush strokes, but softer and more feathered. Very nice!

Actually, my BF saw it on the screen, and he thought it was a painting.

Very good work Mark..honestly, you've got a knack..keep playing around, you've got some good talent. Indeed, drawing your dreams could be a fantastic idea...a visual record for you and to share.

Well its the first time I have used photoshop so I wasnt sure what I was gonna do, I used the smudge tool alot so U=I guess it would look like that

as requested moon beam I have started on this one. This is fairly basic to say the least, but here is what I have got so far...im not to sure I may redo the basics of the background and move the person round maybe

oh some things though..

Are you using a tablet(friend wants to know they say v good but they want to know) and also one nit pit, your stars are like white pixels, are you going to make them more glowing and such to add realism rather then the dots?

Amazing drawings dude, I find drawing hard on paper, even harder on the computer!

err...I have no Idea what a tablet is lol all I did was build up the picture using layers....thats really all I know what to do at the minute lol

About the stars - I will def take your suggestion and try to make them more glowing, im not entirely sure how but I will give it a try at the week end see what I can do

I plan to do some more stuff this weekend...I never got around to doing anything last weekend

just a quick little thing im doing, its once again not finished lol I may have to add a few things or removes some and tidy it up a little

Well really im just experimenting with some ideas. This one was inspired by one of my dreams....I will have to search through my DJ for the correct one but basically I was swimming through the air and came across a coastal area were everything was silhouetted by the sunset

Beautiful, mark. It's almost like a photograph, but with the colors touched up a little bit to make it more eerie.
