Hi everybody!

I was recently challenged to upload a deeper/more complex poem - truth is - I hadn't really got much. So I wrote one!

I hope you enjoy reading it, any criticisms and compliments are most welcome!

WHAT IS LOVE?

What is love?
Can words describe,
The feelings I get,
When I gaze in your eyes?

Volumes of words;
Your beauteous hair,
But none can bestow,
The trust that we share.

Envisioned rhymes;
Your angelic smile,
But none to recall,
Unconditional style.

Paper on paper;
Your radiant lips,
But none to impart,
Such spiritual lift.

Such words can be kind,
But cannot compare,
With the undying bond,
That you and I share.

Love is inseparable,
A selfless devotion,
With unchanging feelings,
Tied to this notion.

Love as a word,
Is symbolic in meaning,
Encapsulating,
This orbital feeling.

But love is not written,
Nor whispered or spoken,
For love is a virtue,
As logic, or token.

Ensemble we live,
With love in our hearts,
Forever so tied,
And never apart.

By and (c) to me.
