Impact
Impact
As the car drove away I thought,
What were they thinking?
What was going through their mind?
As the car drove away I lay there,
At first in pain,
Then very relaxed and calm,
I thought an impact that extensive,
Would hurt a lot more then It did.
As the car drove away, I wondered,
How long was I going to lay there for?
Did anyone see what happened?
Will they rush to help?
I heard shouting just before the impact,
Maybe someone was there.
As the car drove away I remembered,
It was me shouting,
At the car,
At the driver,
Shouting, begging, pleading,
To stop.
But they didn’t, obviously,
That’s why I’m laying here now.
As the car drove away, as the car drove away,
That’s all I can think about,
I really should get up now and check myself.
As I lay there, I begin to wonder,
If I will ever get up,
I wonder if it hurt more then I first thought,
I wonder if the ease in pain was my passing.
I think it must have been,
I can see my body laying there,
Still, lifeless,
The paramedics working frantically,
“No Use” I shout, “I’m dead”
Oh yeah, they cannot hear me.
Now I cannot remember laying on the ground,
I cannot remember what happened,
I can see my remains slumped across the tarmac,
A parked car, and a very distraught driver.
It’s all out of my hands now,
I’ll just have too see where this light leads me.

Kind of morbid... but I like it. It's cool how you tell story. Nice work. 8)
