      I'm making this thread to show off the sea glass and shell jewelry I make (and occasionally I might post musical things). Mostly so I can stop clogging up the "Post Your Everyday Pictures..." thread with my jewelry pics

      I really find it cool when people make things out of sea glass, they're one of my favorite type of recycling that people make these kinds of things out of, and those are real seashells too?

      Your singing is super nice your voice is very comforting and clear! Cant wait to see what else you post!

      I've been spraying my scallop shells with acrylic sealer to give them a glossy shine. So they look like they do when they're wet on the beach. I just think it's a pretty effect.

      First, here are the shells before spraying. They have already been cleaned, scrubbed, scraped of any barnacle residue, calcification, etc. They have also been dipped in HCl.

      On wax paper (and plastic wrap underneath to protect the table)



      Now time to spray:



      Finished products:













      Now they are ready for jewelry making.

      This one is red line agate, lapis/malachite, and astrophyllite.

      Baby sand dollars, all from Cayo Costa. Coated in epoxy resin so that they will not break.

      Crab shells coated in epoxy resin.

      Crab shell earrings. Many more to make.

      Little ones, they do not match.

      I think I look like a nerdy science teacher
