Thread: Attention Artists!!!!!!!!

I am looking for an artist who is willing to draw a few pics for an upcoming advertising campaign. This will be a fundraising campaign to get a new fantasy novel off the ground. I have been developing my story passionately over the past three years and feel I have enough to publish within the next two. The artist(s) I choose to work with will be compensated, and will have the opportunity to continue to work with me over the course of publication.

Yes this is a story involving Dreams. No I cannot divulge much info here on the thread because as far as I can tell, my story is unique, and I would like to keep it that way. I wish I could share everything at this moment because it excites me, but I have to keep myself in check until my story is officially published and it cannot be stolen from under me. I am not accusing anyone in particular, nor am I implying that Dreamviews is a site where such things occur, but it is the internet. Nuff said I think.

I thank you all in advance for any replies. If you are interested, I would ask that you please post the following pic, kinda like an interview: A man sized Phoenix comprised entirely of different shades of blue flames. His eyes and the inside of his beak and throat are icy blue. Eyes will have no pupils, solid color, and they will emit a small like colored smoke trail, like they are burning the air they touch. Wingspan is also the size of a man.

The tone of the book is fairly serious. I do not consider it a kids book by any means.

Quick bit of info I forgot to mention... Due to time restraints, I need to find someone to work with within the next two weeks. By the end of February I will have chosen who to work with.

I've decided to add another pic choice for those of you wanting to join my project...

A Cosmic Serpent, poised to strike the earth. Snake choice does not matter, although I am partial to constrictors, cobras, or vipers for this purpose. This will be a Dream one of my characters has, an omen really.

For anyone who has already begun the Phoenix, please continue. I would love to see any and all works and I want you to know they count for more points than the Serpent if posted by Sunday, February 22nd at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time. After this time, the only way to score extra points lies within your imaginations.

I would greatly appreciate if those of you working on a picture would please like the post of the description of the picture(s) you're creating. It would help me greatly to have an idea of how many Artists are willing to help me from this site.

Less than a week remaining to post those pics Artists. It would be a shame not to have a Dreamviews Artist assist me on this project. Such an opportunity passed up...
