A colored the first one. This is the first time I color, so be gentle!
I meant to keep the shadows pensil drawn because doing them was a little hard. Also, I used Photoshop.

So you drew it by hand and coloured it in photoshop. May I suggest that you keep your original sketch as the top layer and change the layer style to 'multiply'. Then add a layer below it, on which you can colour. That will make the shadows blend onto the colouring...unless you were specifically aiming for this effect.

Or redo the line art also on photoshop. Use 3px pencil too then blur the lines after.. here is my result.

I actually wasn't aiming for this effect
I don't have a scanner, so I can't Photoshop my sketches properly.
OK now you know my drawing ability. I don't want you to think I'm bad at Photoshop, so I got 2 drawings from my friend, then colored them and added effects.

I did both the backgrounds myself from scratch.
