Art dedicated to my grandma?
A poem, perhaps...or a painting? I have included her photo. Please, if you area so inspired, give her an homage by your artistic hand...
Notes of her life:
-Her mom walking away with her brothers, leaving her with a a father she hardly knew...chasing them down the street, in tears.
-Her brother, an up and coming boxer, shot dead by an Oakland Police worker, off duty.
-Hard, because she had to be...but soft, because she wanted to be.
-So much to say...perhaps a photo will do?

Many thanks and much love~be inspired...she is quite a muse...
More notes:
~She had wanted to travel the world, but couldn't afford to. So, she traveled the world in her books.
~She collected antiques from garage sales and thrift stores, making her house a beautiful museum on a dime.
~She and my grandfather were married for over 50 years and loved each other dearly. She caught his fancy while she was dancing the Irish Jig in back of a kitchen that she worked at.
~She could make a 5 star meal out of anything and always had a hot plate ready for visitors.
~She had whimsy. She had deep eyes, always with a sparkle and secrets untold.
~She was loved by all who knew her.
~She loved her garden and told me she could always count on her flowers, because they came back every year. I would wake up to seeing her water her flowers, in her faded garden dress and shoes.
~When her mom and brothers were working, she would walk the streets of Oakland and go to the park to admire the flowers, there. Then, she would go to the library and read, allowing her to live in fantasy.
~She never had a drink in her life.
~At the age of 95, she still believed in fairy's and lepracauns.
