you fell on the floor and now you yo.
I remember when you yo'd twice and I felt nice
but my finger was constricted loosing blood flow
so i figured, it would be better to just let you go.
i have a tan line from loop that was on my hand
my remnants of grand time, but a moment in the hourglass
was the only time I truly felt that things would never last
night turned to night with an absence of the sun
and i chose to walk my path and take my time instead of run.

Muck

Distracted detoured and disqualified
Tooth and nail
Mud and quicksand
In my lungs in my eyes
In my life
I find ways to become clean
and bring back that gleam again
Life tests me and lets me know
That I’ve been ready for it’s challenges
But my reactions say otherwise
They’re absent, and I think I left them in the quicksand
Now that I think about it, it’s better to leave them there

I was in a pretty sick "i have to be better than everyone else on this track" mindset when I wrote the original verse to wordplay. That was like? maybe two years ago or so? But the other stuff is just new, off the top things I've written down. Obviously not as structured, because some of it's poetry, and some are written without music, cause I don't rap anymore, but they still have a feel to to them. I decided to post wordplay to show the contrast in how my writing has changed, but stayed the same.

footballs and toenails, cow milk in goat pails
I burned all my tuxes, everyone jocked my coat tails.
Snow swells above rails blizzard hails from beyond
I'm mounted on a mastodon sipping on energon
chipping like a simperon
no I'm not the king, but I've never been a simpleton
speed dial the pentagon ask em what they tripping on
and I'll tell em with a fake Jamaican accent "you're not living mon"
now back to my pimp ride mastodon with fur bro
and the energon drank tasting smooth like Merlot
ergo my position is twelve steps ahead of you
I go back in time, meet my self and say "i'm the better you".

but anyways, I'm amazed by the grace so I gotta give thanks

I've realized that I should count my blessing.

I wasted too much time on things that didn't matter
gathered my thoughts that were once scattered
mushed them together, and splattered the data
to gather a piece of mine from a time
when I had a piece of mind in that respect
kept walking in circles because I kept trying to protect
all sides of me I felt like the whole word was sizing me
up
but I was a paranoid boy who needed to grow up.
Draped in skeleton leaves waiting for windy nights
so I could climb in the sky and engage in pirate fights
To my delight, I woke up and realized the price wasn't right
I had a few screws loose, while others were too tight.
And then the sun rose, and gave birth to new light.
My mentality changed when I met a morph of the size
of onion rings and it all changed my life.

So I'm back at the crib, and my phone blows up
I get a text from Mario, and reply "LOLWUT?"
He's jealous cause he can die in one hit
Everyone wants to be a Belmont, cause they respect the whip
Then he goes on yapping about dream he had
and when he woke up he was really mad
Bowser was back and he was wrecking his pad
And all I wanted to do was chill out and watch the game
but he wanted to complain about losing his dame
I said "at least you got one", and things got worse
Some maiden chick rolled up and said "you've got Dracula's curse"
I remember saying I raped him, but I wasn't being literal

LOL, it all depends on how you look at it. To me it's more about moving on and staying positive, than being emotional.

It's been some time. Maybe two years ago I guess? The last song I recorded was "wordplay", but I've written tons of stuff after that as you can see. Poetry was always my first love....the raps just grow from them. Everything I write starts out as a poem, and then I forge them into raps.

I gave the truck to a village of cannibals and they grilled him
all but his bubble blower
I took the truck back and MacGyver'd a flame thrower
I came back to the village got revenge on my enemies
simply no sympathy food for the centipedes
my only remedy had my heart torn in two like bigeminy
I write "jungle status" on FB and the pics get a couple of likes
a few days later I got my DT to is original form even added a couple of lights
and to this day you can catch me at the original site
on that mud hill blowing bubbles out the old guys pipe.
