lol, tis ok, you do a very nice job with what you have, and that's why you're on the shop staff.

I have a couple of ideas so far.
either "SwingMan" in some retro 1920's/1930's font with a background of ny city or maybe rapture from bioshock... lol
or some people dancing/playing swing music with the same name, font style etc.

The background looks kinda plain for a godlike figure. Maybe change it to a galaxy or a really cool looking star, photo-realistic or artist's rendition. The latter would probably allow for a more suitable color scheme.

The godlike figure looks more like he's giving a speech than blowing all those guys away. Striking a pose and having some sort of light emanating from him might deliver that message a little better. And his clothes and hair style are very visible. I'd prefer an outline of a bald, naked dude (or a dude in something skintight; we don't want his junk dangling about).

Except actually show some gore, but not too much. Just a bit of blood (though if the blood was done in solhouetted form it would just appear to be a black substance; I don't know if this would work to well or not). The ones closest to the figure will be exactly like in the video. Then the next closest will be in the process of getting blasted. The ones farther than that would be mostly intact, but there is any room in-between the people for light to get through, if they have a body part in that area, it get's blasted off.

This would work best if they were black silhouettes and the main silhouetted figure was a golden color. And instead of a star or galaxy, just some heavenly looking clouds would work best for a shiny golden figure. But that might make him look like some sort of hero or good guy, and that's not exactly what I was looking for.

And they should all look menacing (trying to run away or protect themselves with shields or their arms or something, but menacing). We wouldn't want to give the impression that our main figure is killing innocents.

All that is just the image in my head. But again, if you can think of something other than a dude slaughtering a bunch of other dudes that is godlike and looks cool, throw it in there. I hope I didn't give you the idea that that's all I wanted.

Got it (I hope ) I didn't do any blood, because I'm not sure how that'd fit into vaporization. But I could try to if you really want it.

Perhaps increase their terror factor (unless they're so scared they didn't know what do to so they started dancing... in that case, decrease their terror factor)

Having the main figure point-and-shoot, it might be better for him to just be vaporizing one guy, and then have people looking at that dude and freaking out, rather than have an area of effect. But I'd still prefer a buff naked dude striking a pose and blasting them all away, if any blasting is being done at all. It has to really fit with "Come know me as God."

The actual color of the figure and the white around him suggests he is radiating light, but it doesn't look like it. He has the colors of bright and shiny, but he doesn't actually look bright and shiny.

The background looks better. I especially like the stuff on the left side.

No, it's okay. The funny thing is, they are dancing But they also looked horrified individually. I'll work on this tomorrow, until then I'll wait for MM to drop his into the hat.
